1 Day Productions is proud to announce it will be filming a number of exciting projects under its cinema production banner, 1 DayFilms, that reveal the rich and unique history and culture of what is known as The Ybor City District of Tampa, Florida, an old and diverse community that needs to
be preserved as part of the heritage of America.
As described in the following pages, these projects are 'The Ghosts of Ybor: The
Documentary--Charlie Wall & Santo Traficante, Jr.' and 'The Ghosts of Ybor: The
Feature.' The Documentary is scheduled to begin production in August, 2007 and
The Feature will begin production in 2008. As a preview to both of these
productions, 1 Day Productions, Inc. completed 'The Ghosts of Ybor: The End is
Blossoming' in 2006. A description of the film, which has been accepted in numerous
film festivals around the country and won an award for the best Time Piece, is
provided. Because of the success of this film, 1 Day Productions, Inc. is moving
ahead with The Documentary and The Feature.
Pete Guzzo, MBA
Pete is the Producer/Director for 1 Day Films and is also works as a Producer Director at
Tampa Digital Studios.
Pete obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Film and Video Production from the University of
Tampa and recently finished his Masters of Business Administration degree (studies of
interest, Marketing and Project Management). He worked as a free lance videographer,
editor, and producer at the City of Tampa Television and Hillsborough County Television
for 4 years and worked for numerous out of state production companies who came to
Tampa Bay to film their productions. He started his own media production business in
2002, 1 Day Productions (previous title TOO Productions Inc). In 2007 Pete was hired as
a Producer/Director at Tampa Digital Studios (Tampa Florida). He oversees and
Produces videos, programs, and content for a website division of the company.
Pete Guzzo’s cinema productions include: Director and Producer of the feature film “A
Joyce Story”, Director and Producer of the award-winning short film “The Dance”;
Writer, Producer and Director of the short film “Life is a Circus”; Producer and Director
for the multi-award winning film “99”; he was a Co-Producer of the film “Burial at
Sea” (2007), and is the Producer and Director for the film “The End is Blossoming”
(2006), “The Ghosts of Ybor: The Documentary” (2007) and the feature “The Ghosts
of Ybor” (2008).
Pete, along with his brother, founded and co-hosts The Tampa Film Review (a monthly
film review that screens local and national independent films), which has been
recognized in the Weekly Planet (Tampa Newspaper) as the Best Reasons to Believe the
Local Film Scene is Alive and Well in Tampa and Best Recovery (2006). He is also on
the board of directors of a Tampa Bay film festival, ‘Gasparilla Film Festival' and is
working on a program that could help filmmakers find resources to fund their films for
Film Festivals.

Paul Guzzo, BA
Born and raised in Trenton, NJ, Paul Guzzo moved to Tampa, Fl. in 1999. He received
his BA in Journalism from Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey. For the past
eight years, he been a writer for the nation's ONLY tri-lingual newspaper (English,
Spanish and Italian), La Gaceta Newspaper, located in Ybor City in Tampa, Florida.
Along with his brother, Pete Guzzo, Paul co-founded and co-hosts Tampa Film Reviews,
a monthly film event founded in January 2004 in Tampa that showcases the films of
Florida independent filmmakers. Recently, Paul and Pete were named the "Best Reasons
to Believe the Local Film Scene Is Alive and Well" by the Tampa publication The
Weekly Planet, and "Creatives of the Week" by Tampa Bay's Media Talk Radio Show.
Paul was also chosen an inaugural member of the Gasparilla Film Festival Board of
Directors.
Paul has written and produced four independent films - "Joyce Story", the awardwinning
short "The Dance", the multi-award winning feature film "99", "The Ghosts
of Ybor: The End is Blossoming”, “The Ghosts of Ybor: Documentary” (late 2007),
and the feature “The Ghosts of Ybor” (2008). Paul also wrote a bio entitled "Man of
Steel: The Story of Bob Clark," the founder of Tampa Steel.
